John 11:23 - 26

Martha realized that Lazarus would rise from the dead someday; But she didn't expect this to happen that very day, this day,

as Jesus was talking to her. Martha believed in the resurrection of the dead in the last day. We could say that Martha had faith

for the future, but was a little shaky about what Jesus could do on that very day. We can identify with Martha's(sometimes)

shaky or weak faith. Martha had forgotten that God is active in the here and now, not just in the past and not just in the future.

We, many times get excited about the future; thinking about the rapture or heaven and so forth, or we reflect with a smile about

what Jesus did for us in the past. But we must understand that Jesus is just as powerful today, "Right Now". We thank God for

the past miracles and we look foward to the future. We must anticipate God's mercy and greatness for right now!

We need some "Right Now" kind of faith!!

God Bless You!
